What is a radiologist?
A radiologist is a medical doctor with advanced training in interpreting, or “reading” x-rays and other diagnostic images. The doctors at Rochester Radiology will read your images and report the results to your referring physician—giving him or her the crucial information needed to provide you with the finest possible care.

What makes Rochester Radiology different from other practices?
Our reputation. The doctors here are leaders in the field, and we’re widely known for providing the most accurate interpretation of x-ray images in the area.

Some medical offices are so impersonal. Will I find that at Rochester Radiology?
Never. We think of you as a person first, a patient second. Here, you’ll receive a friendly greeting and find a warm and caring staff ready to address your concerns and answer questions.

What can I expect when I come in for my exam?
You can select your exam to review all the details of what your procedure will involve. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my visit?
In some cases, you’ll be given special instructions on eating, drinking, and taking medication prior to your exam. You can select your exam and office location to review these instructions. It’s very important to follow your directions closely, so your procedure can proceed as scheduled. As always, please contact us with any questions.

Where are your offices?
For your convenience, we have many locations across the area. Find directions and contact information for all our offices by visiting our locations section.

What about parking?
We’re happy to offer free parking at all of our private imaging centers. At several locations, you can park just steps from the front door. Free parking is not available for services at Rochester General Hospital.

What forms of insurance do you accept?
We accept most insurance, including BlueCross BlueShield of the Rochester Area, Preferred Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers Compensation.
